I is for Igor

Igor was, of course, Dr Frankenstein’s right hand man. He’d have to be, really, having given up his left hand for the creation of the monster.

So let’s give a big hand to Igor, the ultimate handyman.

  1. Well, I’ve got to hand it to you, Igor looks slightly unhappy with the hand situation, even though he is in possession of a beautiful pink scarf, presumably given to him by the good old doctor as a thank-you gift.

  2. My Igor always comes in handy.
Have you read any of the Disc World series by Terry Pratchett? There are many Igors in the series, and they are all excellent surgeons.

    1. I’ve only read a couple of Terry Pratchett’s but they were fine reads… One was Good Omens written with Neil Gaiman and another was all about a magical cinema… but I can’t remember its name.

      Have you got any recommendations?

      1. Going Postal is my favorite. I’ve read Soul Music a few times, and that one is a great way to get to know Death – the character. Monstrous Regiment is fun. Hogfather is a great take on Christmas. I’d recommend almost any of the books. Each one shows a slightly different aspect of Disc World.

Type away, me hearties! Type until your hands are sore...
