Two for the price of one Sunday

I’m still struggling to create backgrounds appropriate to the style I’m drawing in… 25 years and counting… Meanwhile here are a couple of further character studies continuing from yesterday and a Dalek picture which probably won’t mean a thing to anyone from outside the UK.

    1. Thanks, Mark.

Sometimes it’s hard to stop ‘polishing up’ a picture. I usually do so just after I’ve completely worn away all that energy.

If you have any sage words on this, I’d love to hear them!

      1. I think it’s a very common problem, certainly a familiar one to me. Too much tinkering robs a work of energy. I try to keep my pencils sketches loose, ink quickly, and resist the urge to correct all but the most glaring mistakes. It’s a very difficult and persistent demon to fight, but I hope that helps!! : )

Type away, me hearties! Type until your hands are sore...
